The Proposal
We went to Disney World for our birthdays (he's June 5th, I'm June 9th), and on June 6th he surprises me with dinner reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table, an amazing restaurant inside Cinderella's Castle for us and my family. My parents were in on this (oh yes, he asked my dad first, secretly and all), and so that evening, after taking pictures with Cinderella, and an amazing dinner, dessert time was here.
Our royal server (he said he wasn't a waiter ... lol) brings out a white porcelain plate with another one on top as a lid, places it in front of me and says "For the Princess!" Inside was a crystal slipper (with our names, the date and "Will you marry me?" engraved) surrounded by red rose petals. At first I thought the slipper was my birthday gift! Then I saw it: a 1 ct. flawless solitaire ring. By the time I looked up and asked "What? What are you doing?", he was on one knee and asked me if I would marry him.
I said yes.
Seconds later, "Wishes" the fireworks show started outside the castle.
